BurstNET™ OFFERS PENNSYLVANIA REGIONAL DEDICATED AND WIRELESS ACCESS SERVICES

-- (08/01/2002) -- (Wilkes-Barre, PA) BurstNET Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of managed dedicated web hosting services, today announced the unveiling of its Dedicated Services and Wireless Internet Access divisions (http://www.burst.net/access/). The new, low-cost, high bandwidth availability, Broadband Services division, is set to target the regional Northeast Pennsylvania area with its initial offerings.

Dedicated service plans start with T1 service, with prices for the connectivity starting at $99.95 for a fractional T1 at 256K up to a Full T1 line capacity (1.54MBPS) at $399.95, plus the local Telco loop. Other hardware configurations are available for similar discount pricing, including fractional and full DS3 and OC3 levels of bandwidth. Affordable setup fees charged with each circuit begin at $299.95 for T1 lines, which does include a managed Cisco™ 2500 series router. Lead-time for installation is approximately 30-90 days depending on the size of the circuit ordered.

Broadband Wireless service plans will be available for both business and residential customers in both the Scranton and Wilkes-Barre markets for the first phase of the BurstNET™ High-Speed Wireless Internet Access roll out. For the highest speed connections, with the fastest installation times, BurstNET™ High-Speed Wireless is the solution! Starting at only $49.95/month for residential service & $69.95/month for business service, the access can normally be installed within 24-72 hours. Speeds are available from 256Kbps to 155Mbps, with same day capacity upgrades available. Internet users can now experience high bandwidth without the need for expensive telephone circuits! All service levels will have a small setup fee associated with them, which includes, supplying of hardware, mounting of antenna, cable run, hook up, and testing of the signal - starting at $99.95.

“The BurstNET™ High-Speed Wireless solution is the next logical solution in the ever-lasting search for high-speed bandwidth”, said S. Matthew Arcus, CEO of BurstNET™. “The days of cable modems and DSL are numbered with the release of such cutting edge connectivity products. No longer having to wait weeks for installation, or not being able to get service in your area, is no longer an issue. Making a single phone call and having your capacity increased the same day is an advantage businesses really can utilize.”

“Rural America has been without high-speed Internet Access, and confined to 56K dial-up modems for too long…”, said Eric Gregory, VP of Operations of BurstNET™. “Eventually, as new non-line-of-sight wireless hardware is released on the market over the next year, our company will be able to reach almost any location currently missing out on broadband. With speeds starting at 5x that of cable modems, and affordable pricing in the same ballpark, we expect the response to our product to be phenomenal.”

Both product lines are scheduled for release August 1st, 2002, however BurstNET™ is currently accepting advance orders due to anticipated high demand. Call 1-877-BURSTNET for more information, or view the Dedicated/Wireless service portfolio online at http://www.burst.net/access/
