ECONO LODGE OF WILKES-BARRE RECEIVES "SILVER" HOSPITALITY AWARD
The Econo Lodge of Wilkes-Barre has received the "Silver Hospitality Award" from Choice Hotels international, franchiser of the Econo Lodge hotel brand. The SILVER AWARD is part of Choice's progressive Awards program, which recognizes its hotels for operations, services and overall quality. Winners of the "SILVER AWARD" may go on to win the Gold or Platinum Awards.
To qualify, a hotel must undergo a seies of rigorous inspections that evaluate each operating department. Departments are rated according to criteria including staff knowledge, attitude and professionalism; training, safety and security; maintenance and energy conservation; and physical conditions.
