ED BIAGAS, JR. BEGINS 2ND GENERATION OF GM LEGACY
-- (12/19/2002) Wilkes-Barre, PA -- General Motors Minority Dealers Association (GMMDA) member, Edwin D. Biagas, Jr. is the newly appointed dealer principal of Saturn of Wyoming Valley, located in Wilkes Barre, Penn. Ed, Jr., the eldest son of the late Edwin D. Biagas, Sr. - 4th President of the GMMDA, is among a very small group of second-generation minority dealers.

Prior to attending the National Auto Dealers Association Academy, Ed, Jr. worked as a salesman at Fairway Cadillac Oldsmobile, a dealership owned and operated by his father, in Jenkintown, Penn. After his NADA training in 1997, Ed, Jr. assumed the role of General Manager at the dealership.

During those years, Ed, Jr. received invaluable training, mentoring, and guidance from his father, a man known for being an exceptional businessman, respected community leader, and devoted father and husband. After the sudden passing of Ed Biagas, Sr. in June of 2000, the Biagas family continued his legacy by maintaining a standard of excellence in operating their dealership and ultimately adding three additional GM franchises. The dealership is known today as Fairway Automotive group and is successfully owned and operated by Mrs. Lillie Biagas.
