KING'S COLLEGE FEATURED IN NATIONAL REPORT
-- (10/02/2002) -- King's College is featured in a new national report released today by the Association of American Colleges and Universities. The report calls for a dramatic reorganization of higher education in America that centers on giving all students - regardless of institution or major - a practical and enganged liberal education.

"We at King's are very pleased that the Greater Expectations National Report cites King's as a leader in improving the quality of undergraduate education," says Rev. Donald Grimes, C.S.C., Ph.D., vice president for academic affairs. "For nearly 20 years our curriculum has stressed student learning by engaging students as active participants in the learning process. We continue to develop new ways, including research opportunities for individual students with faculty (collaborative learining) to enhance the learning experience for King's students."
