UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON OPENS INTERNATIONAL CENTER

Wilkes-Barre, PA -- The University of Scranton has established an International Center to provide resources and initiatives for students, faculty, staff and those in our regional community that encourage an understanding and appreciation of global society. Initiatives also aim to help prepare students for successful participation and leadership in global society.
The International Center, which is part of the Office of International Programs and Services, officially opened on Thursday, November 14, 2002, with a series of events that included a grand opening reception, a public forum on the War with Iraq and a Global FoodFest. The center is located in the east wing of The Estate.
