Family Service Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania is devoted to providing diverse services to children, individuals, seniors, and families, empowering them to reach their full potential, resulting in healthier relationships and stronger communities. In alignment of their mission, Family Service Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania upholds these ideals through an array of services they provide including professional counselling, the Guardianship program, ParentChild+ program, Intensive Family Reunification Services, Family Group Decision Making process, High Risk Youth Reentry program, Batterers Intervention services, Anger Management Group program, Family Finding program, and outreach preventions programs. They also operate the PA 2-1-1/Help Line, an information and referral service and first response point for crisis calls, which is the central access point for problems and issues regarding mental health issues, child abuse or neglect reports, drug and alcohol questions or access to care, runaways, energy assistance, homeless services, and victim services available on a 24/7 basis, including holidays. Additionally, they run The Children’s Center of Susquehanna & Wyoming Counties, a Child Advocacy Center that provides a comprehensive multidisciplinary team approach to childhood trauma.
Marking their 124th year of service to their families and community in 2019, the Family Service Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania continues to demonstrate their devotion to the assistance of those in need every day and provide services judgement free and with the utmost care.
