Toastmasters Unveil New Pathways Program at Open House April 17 Would you like your employees to be more confident and productive? Would you like your managers to be better leaders? Would you like your sales team to be better communicators and presenters? Then join us for an open house meeting of the Blue Diamonds Toastmasters Club of Wilkes- Barre on Tuesday, April 17. The open house will be held at the Osterhout Public Library on Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre: Networking and light refreshments from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m., and a Demonstration Meeting from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Free parking will be available in the Boscov’s lot. At the open house you can speak with current Toastmasters about the new learning program – Pathways – which gives members the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills at their own pace and on their own path. The club’s positive learning environment emphasizes support, camaraderie, and interaction among members, helping to foster selfconfidence and personal growth. Toastmasters also offers novices an opportunity to overcome public speaking anxiety, and gives experienced presenters the opportunity to hone their skills. The club’s leadership development program offers opportunities to learn and practice leadership skills with the support of other group members. The club meets regularly on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Sundance Vacation Building, 264 Highland Park Boulevard, across from the Mohegan Sun Arena.
