Dr. Leder will identify strategies people wmploy to reorient themselves toward their body when suffering from illness, impairment, or pain. His speaking engagement will highlight how these strategies can be incorporated into any plan of care.
Dr.. Leader has an M.D. from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from The State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is the author of many books, both scholarly and popular. His latest is The Distressed Body: Rethinking Illness, Imprisonment, and Healing (University of Chicago 2016).
