    Maintenance Supervisor – Mountain Top, PA
    This position reports to the Mountain Top Maintenance Manager
    Job Function:
     
    • Helps to develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
    • Helps plan maintenance operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing equipment repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance.
    • Works with Maintenance Manager to review operational schedules and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure production and quality of products meets both internal and external customer specifications.
    • Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
    • Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
    • Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards
    Should have strong skills in some of the following areas:
    • AC/DC drives
    • Blue print reading
    • Troubleshoot PLC Controls
    • Programming PLC
    • Electronic Control Systems
    • Three-phased Power and Motor Controls
    • Good working knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
    • Microsoft programs
     Key requirements
    Safety
    • Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
    Work Experience
    • Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing plant experience, 3 years of which must be in a maintenance organization as a supervisor –OR- Associates degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years in a maintenance organization as a supervisor.
