The Wright Center for Primary Care recently opened its first clinical locations in Luzerne County, solidifying its commitment to providing non-discriminatory primary care services across the region.
The Wright Center for Primary Care Wilkes-Barre, 335 South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, opened its doors to patients on Monday, January 15, 2018. The five-room primary care clinic is housed on the second floor of Children’s Service Center’s newly expanded 17,622-square-foot Outpatient Clinic Building. While the practice is located on the Children’s Service Center campus, it is open to the public.
The Wright Center for Primary Care Wilkes-Barre is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. New patients are welcome and all insurances, including Blue Cross, Geisinger, Medical Assistance, Medicare and more, are accepted. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 570-591-5283. The Wright Center for Primary Care Old River Road, 250 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre, opened its doors to patients on Monday, February 5, 2018. The practice, staffed by Family Medicine doctor Joseph Anistranski, MD, FAAFP, was previously affiliated with Commonwealth Health System’s InterMountain Medical Group. The Wright Center and InterMountain have worked together in various ways for many years and all parties were committed to ensuring this change was seamless as possible for existing patients. Along with Dr. Anistranski’s continued role as Family Physician, he will also serve as Wright Center faculty, educating residents and inter-professional learners.
The Wright Center for Primary Care Old River Road is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am to 5pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30am to 4pm. New patients are welcome and all insurances, including Blue Cross, Geisinger, Medical Assistance, Medicare and more, are accepted. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 570-826-5038.
