Joseph Anistranski, MD, FAAFP has joined The Wright Center for Primary Care as physician-faculty and will continue to serve his well-established patient base as a Family Medicine physician in Luzerne County. Concurrent with his role as a primary care provider, Dr. Anistranski will educate residents and interprofessional students in his role as faculty, preparing them to serve within the ever-changing healthcare landscape.
Dr. Anistranski will practice medicine at The Wright Center for Primary Care’s newest location at 250 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre. He also assumed the role of Medical Director of The Wright Center for Primary Care Wilkes-Barre, 335 South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, in mid-January.
Dr. Anistranski earned his medical degree at the Pennsylvania State University and completed his residency at Wyoming Valley Family Practice Center in Wilkes-Barre. He was previously employed by InterMountain Medical Group and Catholic Social Services. He sits on the Luzerne County Medical Society Board of Directors and served as Vice President from 2001-2002.
