WILKES BARRE, PA: The Wilkes-Barre Connect Spotlight series will hold its first event of 2018, on Thursday, March 22nd at 5 PM in the Wilkes-Barre THINK Center, located at 7 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
The Spotlight program features quarterly events that provide an opportunity for industry leaders, entrepreneurs and students in NEPA to meet, discuss, and identify potential partnerships. Each event features a fifteen-minute presentation from an entrepreneur– our version of TED Talks, while also highlighting some of our up-and-coming local businesses and entrepreneurs. In 2017, the Spotlight series featured presentations from James Marciano, Helen Lavelle, and Kris Jones.
Spotlight is coordinated by the Diamond City Partnership and sponsored by Penn State Wilkes-Barre, through the INVENT Penn State Initiative. Launched in 2015 by Penn State President Dr. Eric Barron, INVENT Penn State is a Commonwealth-wide initiative to spur economic development, job creation, and student career success.
